Hi, my name is Elly Brian and I have been designing for a decade.
I studied Environmental Health at Moi University and graduated back in 2015. My design journey started when I got my first laptop, a Compaq Presario, and experimented with various software; from Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop, to FL Studio and so many other design and creator software. I used to be a student leader and I managed to talk my lecturers into designing their PowerPoint presentations for them.
After graduation, I started blogging for free on WordPress and explored the design and marketing world. I got my first job as a Digital Marketer for a Car Rental Company where I was exposed to Social Media Management, Web Design and Maintenance, SEO, PPC Promotions etc. As a digital marketer, I got to build my first website and after seeing the possibilities, I decided to start my own company which I called ELBWRITS MINIMALIST.
Fast forward to 2023 and I changed the company name to Writside Marketing to incorporate the marketing aspect in the business. It has been a wild ride and I keep learning every day.
I am a follower of Christ, saved by His grace and living by His mercy. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife and lovely girls. Being a dad is amazing, and I am glad to have them and to take care of them. The dream is to get a piece of land, build them a cosy home and do some farming. Seeing the little ones run around a well-manicured garden, picking flowers and playing in the dirt will make my heart glad for sure.
